theforcedpivot Podcast welcomes Deron Medley, BA, CSPO, CSM.

Deron Medley is a native of Halifax, VA and he currently lives in Wake Forest, NC.  He is a recent graduate of Walden University with a BS in Communications.  Deron served 11 years in the US Navy and spent multiple years deployed around the world.  While in the States he served as a US Navy Recruiter before being tasked back to Norfolk, VA.

After much deliberation, Deron decided to pivot and left the US Navy to pursue a career in the IT field.  He spent a short time as an IT recruiter before landing a job working in the IT Voice field.

Over the years, Deron has made pivots to better his situation for his family.  He recently completed his BS degree and used the loss of his brother to motivate him to complete his degree. He currently serves as a Scrum Master/Agile Coach for the largest credit union in North Carolina.

Deron has spent 15+ years doing volunteer work in his community and he stays motivated to give back.  He is the proud father of 5 daughters and he has one grandson.
