Lieutenant Kionna Myles, a native of South Boston, Virginia, enlisted in the United States Navy in 2012 as a Hospital Corpsman.  Her enlisted assignments were Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Portsmouth, Portsmouth, VA; Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center, Fort Belvoir, VA; and Fleet Surgical Team SEVEN, Okinawa, Japan.

While enlisted, she earned her Bachelor of Public Health degree in 2017 and Master of Public Health degree in 2019.   Lieutenant Myles was commissioned as a Lieutenant Junior Grade in the Medical Service Corps through the Medical Service Corps In-Service Procurement Program (MSC-IPP) in 2019.

After completing Officer Development School in 2020, Lieutenant Myles reported to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Quantico, Quantico, VA, as Department Head, Healthcare Business.  In 2021, Lieutenant Myles reported to Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, C A, and graduated in December 2022 with a Master of Business Administration, with emphasis in Material Logistics Support.

In 2023, Lieutenant Myles reported to Naval Medical Readiness Logistics Command -Detachment Fort Detrick, Fort Detrick, MD, where she currently serves as the Director of the Mission Support Directorate and has earned her Doctor of Healthcare Administration degree. Lieutenant Myles is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®.  She is a graduate of the U.S. Naval War College Command and Staff Program, Uniform Services University MedXcellence Course, and the Financial and Material Management Training Course.

She is a recipient of the Regent-At-Large Diversity & Inclusion Early Careerist Award and the Early Careerist Healthcare Executive Award.

Her personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (two awards).
